Illustrating: Iniquity at Work

Sin, in its original state, is the manifestation of iniquity. The mystery of iniquity has been at work since before time and ventured into Eden. (Ezek 28:11-16) Iniquity continues to abound until the Church, is taken out of the way. (! Thes 2:7) It is believed the Holy Spirit will allow iniquity to abound until the rapture. When the Holy Spirit departs, great iniquity will come upon the world.

Sin is an entity. Whether animate or inanimate, God knows. Being placed into Christ’s death, the new man is set apart from sin. Wherein the old man died, the new man abides in Christ. (Rom 6:7)

Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, went through death and took the judgement of sin. Sin remains rampart in the world, and will cause many to commit sin. Even the Christian will allow sin to work in their members. God caused Jesus to be sin for us that the judgement may be complete. In resurrection, the believer becomes the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor 5:21)

Sin can be captured. The influence begins as a vision or feeling. Evil thoughts are memories we dwell on. An unclean spirit, temptation, or symbiont can be drawn in from outside the body. (Job 1:1-12...) Thoughts or symbiont can be literally captured and brought to Christ for retribution. (2 Cor 10:3-6) The new man, born again in Christ, cannot be touched by sin. (2 Cor 5:17; 1 John 5:18-20)
