New Me

Illustrating: The New Me In Heaven

This diagram below shows how: In Christ, the New Me is in Heaven. We know that when our earth suit dissolves, we have a new suit in heaven. Yet, being raised together with Christ, are we not at home in His body. (2 Cor 5:1-7; Eph 6:2; Col 3:1) Who saved us? Surely it is not of works, but according to His Grace given us in Christ before the world began. (2 Tim 1:9-10) In addition, Paul claimed he was alive before the law was established, but when the law came, sin revived, and he died. (Rom 7:9) This confirms that Paul believed he was born naturally in the image of Adam?

When Christ ascended to heaven, the new me was a component of captivity. Those He brought captive from the grave, walked the streets of Jerusalem. Our justification, as being raised together in Christ, represent the goodness of fit in the wholeness of God. Thus, I am assured, that being In Christ, the new me, th e new spiritual creature is in heaven, even now. (Eph 4:8; Eph 2:6)

If we trace our ancestry, we see ourselves as children of Adam. However, looking forward to the cross, we see ourselves as children of God, in Christ. Being placed into His death, our old man Adam was crucified. Christ’s Eternal Life became our life. A new creature is born without sin, and as the bride of Christ, bear fruit in the image of God. (Romans 7:4; Col 3:4) The Holy Spirit, with the seal of Promise, maintains the mortal body, transforms the mind, and reserves an immortal body for us in heaven. The King James Bible establishs this fact as truth, (Rom 8:11;12:1&2) (Eph 1:13; 2:6) The Book, “Is There Really Life After Death?” is in testimony to this fact.
